Friday
Gardened – put out one of the raised beds that I bought last summer, filled it with the new soil bought last Saturday and finally planted the courgettes, squash and spinach that was a bargain buy from local allotments at least a month ago
To my first Labour party meeting - a vote as to whether to support Jeremy Corbyn. There were queues down the street and at first it seemed like we wouldn’t get in, but once the debate started they were less vigilant. I went because I have been uncertain about Corbyn for a while but as many of my friends are still pro Corbyn I wanted to hear others views. It was a fantastic atmosphere and those of us who couldn’t initially get in stood and talked with each other on the street, sharing our reservations and hoping for party unity. It was a great meeting with speakers from all sides of the debate. The result was very telling 78 for, 76 against, such a tiny margin, but I was glad to have taken part.
Saturday
To book fair in Liverpool with the hb collective (our book group continues to meet the last Saturday of each month at Hot Bed and exhibit together). For this book fair we all contributed individually and produced a book together on the theme of hot bed. It was a fantastic afternoon, that gave me so many ideas and inspiration.
Sunday
Started this blog to reorganise my life and organise my thoughts and planning. I wiped the 2nd hand computer in the hope of eliminating the glitches which of course took forever but is working better.
